MEET OUR BRANDS

The California Original

O’Neill, the original California surf, snow and lifestyle brand, was founded in 1952 when a young man named Jack O’Neill took his unstoppable passion for surfing and used it to battle Mother Nature. He “just wanted to surf longer”.

Soon, surfers were riding more waves, and riding them better, mostly because they could now enjoy longer sessions in cold water, thanks to Jack’s neoprene suits.

Jack’s initial vision of producing functional and innovative board riding products continues to lie at the core of everything the company does. From the first neoprene surf wetsuit and board leash to the world’s first seamless boardshorts.

As a brand created to enjoy nature longer, we see it as our responsibility to actively protect it and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable world. In 1996 Jack O’Neill created the Sea Odyssey to educate students on the importance of the relationship between the living sea and the environment.

Today, the core of our company, our oceans,  feel the impact of a wave of plastic. We have a mission to protect them, so that future generations can experience that same inexplicable feeling we have when we enjoy nature.

Our O’Neill Blue collection launched in 2015 is a movement towards environmental responsibility. We are committed to Blue through the use of sustainable materials that reduce our environmental footprint and help protecting our oceans.  Join our Ocean Mission.

The brand that eventually became Lee Cooper was established in 1908 by Morris Cooper and a friend, Louis Maister, after they arrived in London from their hometown in Lithuania, having previously spent some time in South Africa. Operating under the name M. Cooper (Overalls) Ltd., from premises on Middlesex Street in London’s East End, they began production of workwear, having identified a market for it in South Africa.

During the years of the First World War, M. Cooper (Overalls), which by then employed over 600 people, halted production of workwear and began making uniforms, kit bags and rucksacks for the British Army. In 1937, a new factory dedicated to the manufacture of denim was opened in Stratford, with the business reporting a profit of £1,000 by year end.

The outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 led Morris Cooper to split the business into two: one arm continued making workwear, while the other concentrated on producing military uniforms, battle fatigues and flight overalls. M. Cooper (Overalls) eventually became one of the biggest suppliers to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces.

In 2013, Iconix Brand Group acquired Lee Cooper from Sun Capital Partners.

International sportswear giant Fila was established in Biella, Italy in 1911, nestled among the foothills of the Italian Alps. A worldwide leader in sporting and lifestyle shoes and apparel, Fila champions its heritage Italian design DNA while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of modern performance wear.

Fila gained global attention for its instantly recognizable tennis apparel in the 1970s and has since expanded their design portfolio to include sporting apparel across a wide range of codes including golf, training, running and compression wear. While their technical processes are at the forefront of sporting design, the brand remains true to its time-honored European aesthetic and outfits professional artists and athletes from around the world.

Introduced to complement the main collections, Fila Black Line calls on the brand’s nostalgic catalogues from the 1980s and ‘90s. The capsule cleverly integrates the slouchy, oversized street-led designs of the ‘90s with the figure-hugging fits of the ‘80s to create a range for men and women that feels anachronistic yet inherently modern.

Fila delivers the perfect cross-section of sport and street. Our signature t-shirts fuse all the comfort and function you have come to expect from the brand, while a selection of sweatshirts, sports tops and performance jackets bring an extra dimension to your everyday rotation. Whether you’re on the court, at the gym or hitting the streets, Fila has you covered.
